Sandra Jean Bishop, 71, of Senoia, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Born on March 31, 1955, in Newnan, to the late Tommy Henry Bishop and the late Shirley Naomi Shelton Bishop. For many years, Sandra owned and operated a cleaning service in Coweta County. She was also a licensed registered nurse in the state of the Georgia. Sandra found great joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life. She enjoyed reading and studying her Bible. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and those moments brought her immense happiness. She was a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and enjoyed watching NASCAR and baseball. She was also an avid gardener, and she took great pleasure in tending to her plants and watching them grow. Her garden reflected her nurturing spirit and her appreciation for beauty, patience, and life's seasons. She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Bishop.

Survivors include her daughter, Naomi Thompson (Josh); grandchildren, Taylor, Chloe, and Jackson; sisters, Melinda Bishop (Donnie Lee) and April McCurry; brother, Wade Bishop; nieces and nephews, Amanda, Savannah, Amber, Austin, David, Matt, John, Bridget, Kasey, and Little Tommy; sister-in-law, Debbie Bishop Kittles; caregiver, Missy Carden; and numerous other extended family members.

A private celebration of Sandra's life will be held at a later date.
