Sammy Joe Redding, age 69 of Milner passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at Spalding WellStar Hospital.

Mr. Redding was born March 13, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio.  He was the son of the late Joe & Annie Mae Redding and Bessie & Elbert Smith.

Survivors include sister Nancy Mills (Roger), Janice Tober (James), Joe Redding (Cindy), John Redding (Candy); nieces and nephews Duwayne Mills (Ashley), Windy Mills, Sarah Stanfield, Brandon Tober (Melissa), Kayla Echols (Stephen); great-nieces and nephew Marisa Mills, Hunter Echols, Emma Grace Echols and Addison Stanfield; and several cousins.  Special friends Tony, Suzi, Carole, Johnny, Cheryl & Chase.

It was Mr. Redding's wishes to be cremated and a small Family service will be announced in the future at Youngs Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Cedartown, GA, where his family is buried.
