Ronald Eli Terrell, 74, of Sharpsburg, passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2023. He is predeceased by his parents, Rev. Bernard & Ann Terrell; his beloved wife of 32 years, Vickie (Gillespie) Terrell, and his great grand-daughter, Sarah Ann Tate.

Ronnie loved his grandchildren, nature, and his animals. From trapping to gardening, he loved being outside. He was the proud grandfather of six; Erica, Ethan, Ansley, Jack, Corinne, & Isabelle and the great-grandfather of seven. Over the years, he kept chickens, dogs, an owl, rabbits, and a pair of racoons.

Ronnie graduated from East Coweta High School in 1967, and retired from Ralston Purina in 2003. He is survived by his children, Missy Terrell Cole (Blue), and Michael Terrell (Elizabeth), and his brother, Eddie Terrell of Manchester.

Ron worked hard for his family, setting an example for his children and others. He was always willing to help and always had a story to tell. He loved to surround himself with family, and he was a regular at his grand- and great-grandchildren's events. He was so proud of his children's accomplishments, and his grandchildren took his heart. He regularly copied and shared their pictures and accomplishments from scouts to soccer to singing. His presence will be felt and missed.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2023, at the funeral home. A graveside funeral service will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery, immediately following the visitation on Wednesday afternoon.
