Mr. Rolanda Ortega, 80, of Newnan, died Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

Born June 17, 1945, in Guanajay, Cuba, he was a son of the late Jose Angel Ortega and the late Olga Gonzalez. Mr. Ortega immigrated to the United States as a young man and was immensely proud to become a naturalized citizen. After retiring from the City of Peachtree City, he found great joy in tending to his yard, cultivating beautiful gardens, and nurturing flowers. Above all, he cherished his family and was known for his generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Survivors include his partner, Lynn Sorrow; son, Rolando Ortega, Jr.; daughter, Sherri Denmark; brother, Carmello Ortega; grandchildren, Katelyn Denmark, Kristen Phillips, and Matthew Denmark; and great-grandchildren, Autumn Rivers, Abigail Denmark, and Avery Denmark.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Terry Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service.
