Robert "Bob"
Todd Plummer
October 16, 1948 – December 4, 2024
Robert "Bob" Todd Plummer, 76, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on October 16, 1948, in Wheeling, WV, to Charles and Jane Plummer. As a boy, Bob enjoyed outdoor adventures in the mountains of West Virginia with his brother. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. This experience grew his love of avionics and prepared him for his 30-years career at Collins Avionics. After working at Collins for almost four years, he met Dominga at a dinner/dance. The rest is history, and they were married for 44 years. He deeply loved his family and never missed a practice, game, or concert. He was an avid Ohio State football fan and instilled a love of sports in his children. In his later years, he was a doting grandfather and enjoyed growing vegetables and herbs in his garden. Bob lived life to the fullest and always enjoyed a good party and spending time with family and friends. He was also a strong-willed man who held passionate beliefs. He was very hard-working and would do anything to provide for his family and friends. He wanted to be remembered as an imperfect person who depended on God each day and was so grateful for the blessings in his life.
Bob was a devoted husband to Dominga Plummer, a proud father to Jason Plummer (Sirirat) and Lisa Plummer (Eugenio), and a cherished grandfather to Joshua Andraca. Bob is also survived by his brother Jim Plummer (Debby), cousins Lynn Comerci (Jim), Bruce Campbell (Margie) and Brian Campbell (Cyndi), and his nephew Lance Plummer.
A celebration of his life will be held in the spring of 2025 and will be announced then.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Fisher House Foundation, Inc., 12300 Twinbrook Pkwy, Suite 410, Rockville, Maryland 20852 or https://www.fisherhouse.org in memory of Bob.
