Mr. Robert Lee Hillhouse, 76, of Griffin, passed away, Monday, February 28, 2022, at his residence.

Born November 20, 1946, in Griffin, a son of the late Agnes Chadwick Hillhouse and the late Ralph William Hillhouse. Robert was a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force. After leaving the service, he worked as a correctional officer for the State of GA for 22 years, before fully retiring. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Hillhouse and William "Billy" Watson.

Survivors include his niece, Ruth Adkerson (Nathan Rogers), nephew William Hillhouse; great niece, Brittany Adkerson, and great nephew, Dustin Adkerson.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023, in Griffin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel in Newnan.
