Mr. Ricky Lee Blair, 64, of Newnan, died Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

Born September 4, 1958, in Newnan, he was a son of the late Walter David Blair and the late Mary Gillispie Blair. Ricky was veteran of the US Navy and a heavy equipment operator by trade. Ricky was avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons. Ricky also enjoyed a good meal, especially his mother and sisters southern cooking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, David Blair, Bobby Blair and Danny Blair.

Survivors include his daughters, Samantha Nealey (Matthew), of Leland NC, and Holly Blair of Newnan; sons, Nicholas Blair, Jonathan Blair (Marine Gillette) both of Wilmington, NC, and Jason Hubbard of Newnan; grandchildren, Christian Blair, Decklyn Blair, Scarlet Blair all of Wilmington, NC and Jensen Nealey of Leland, NC; brothers, Randy Blair (Susan) of Hoschton, and Buddy Jenkins of Hawkinsville; sisters, Anice Gilley of Newnan, and Jenny Dockery of Forest Park; former wives and mothers of his children, Vanessa Joye of Wilmington, NC, and Lynn Butler of Newnan; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
