Mr. Richard Loy Bell, 88, of Newnan, died Monday, July 28, 2025, at his residence.

Born on September 21, 1936, in Atlanta, he was a son of the late Loy S. Bell and the late Mabel Kathryn Gardener Bell. A member of Crossroads Church, Mr. Bell retired as a Postmaster from the United States Postal Service. He proudly served in the Georgia National Guard for 15 years. Mr. Bell cherished spending time with his family, always prioritizing their well-being. He had a passion for golf, fishing, and travel.

Survivors include his wife, Myra Jane Hester Bell; sons, Richard Greggory Bell (Joyce), William Douglas Bell (James Robinson), Christopher Loy Bell, and Larry Jason Reagor; brother, Darrell Bell (Marlene); grandchildren, Shawn Bell, Daniel Bell, Douglas Bell, and Ansleigh Bell; and great-grandchildren, Donovan Bell, Nathan Bell, Samantha Bell, Austin Bell, and Bradley Bell.

The family will hold a private gathering at Hillcrest Chapel.
