Mrs. Rhonda Ann Groves, 58, of Hogansville, widow of the late Nick Groves, died Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Born October 19, 1963, in LaGrange, she was a daughter of Mary Helen Denney Screws and the late Ted Benjamin Screws. Mrs. Groves was a member of Living by Faith Church and loved to play the piano and sing. She loved spending time with her family. In addition to her husband and father, she was preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Wanda Ussery.

Survivors include her daughter, Amber Zell of Hogansville; son, Chris Satterwhite (Claudia) of Roanoke, AL; grandson, Gabe Zell; mother, Helen Screws; aunt, Gail Satterwhite; nephew, Ben Screws; and close family friend, Dottie Harrison.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Terry Calhoun and Pastor James Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021, at the funeral home.
