Reverend David Gordon Patrick, 52, of Newnan, died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrolton.

Born December 2, 1968 in Atlanta, son of the late Margaret Ellen Gordon Patrick and Kenneth Gordon Patrick. David was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the Senior Pastor of Elim Baptist Church on Handy Rd. in Newnan. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Georgia Bulldogs, the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons. He never met a stranger and made quick friends with any that crossed his path. David enjoyed life, a good meal, and especially spending time with his family. He loved his church and church family and will be missed dearly, by all that knew him. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Patrick.

Survivors include his wife, Lori Patrick; son, Chandler Patrick; daughters, Madison Neill and Kimberlee Neill; father, Kenneth Patrick; and sister, Patricia Patrick.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the graveside in Elim Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Ken Norton and Pastor Michael Cook officiating.
