Reid Matthew Poague, infant son of Tyler Poague and Samantha Minix, was born into Heaven on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

Reid's arrival had been greatly anticipated by all his family and while he never spent any time with us here on earth, he touched all of our lives. He was a beautiful baby boy who will always live on in our hearts, and we take comfort in knowing Reid is now watching over us from Heaven.

Survivors include his parents, Tyler Matthew Poague and Samantha Marie Minix; grandparents, Matt & Shacklyn Poague, Becky Brazil (James), and Mark Minix (Tammy); great-grandparents, Geri Young, Linda Poague, and Carolyn & William Minix; and aunts & uncles, Katie, Jessica, Heather, Eric, Matt, Brandon, and Dawson.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Noel Forrester officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, one hour prior to the service.
