Mr. Reginald Couch Banks, 88, of Senoia, died Saturday, July 20, 2024, at his residence.

Born August 21, 1935, in Senoia, he was a son of the late Eugene Banks and the late Fannie Kate Couch Banks. Mr. Banks was a member of First White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was retired as the store manager at Red Beards Store. He loved to tell stories about his younger days and enjoyed listening to bluegrass and gospel music. He also enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly Johnson and a grandson, Christopher Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Virginia L. Banks; son, Kenneth William Banks; special nieces, Melody Newman, and Shirley Jackson; and a friend and neighbor, Sue Hunter.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Kevin Couch officiating. Interment will follow in First White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.
