Mr. RC Jackson Crumpton, Jr., 69, of Newnan, died Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born August 12, 1952, in Clanton, Alabama, he was a son of the late RC Jackson Crumpton, Sr., and the late Vivian Loretta Taylor Crumpton.  Mr. Crumpton was a member of Heatherwood Baptist Church and was a retired HVAC Technician.  He loved Alabama football, and enjoyed golf, bowling, and travel.  He also enjoyed singing karaoke and loved to sing to his wife.

Survivors include his wife, Linda S. Crumpton; son, Shane Crumpton (Kimya); daughter, Misty Smith (Jason); stepsons, Darren Brown (Heather), and Ryan Brown; sisters, Sandra Boyd, and Donniette Bracken; 4 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Hillcrest Chapel.  Funeral Services will be held in Clanton, Alabama, under the direction of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.
