Haynes, Jr.

Mr. Ralph Brown Haynes, Jr., 78, of Sharpsburg, died Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Born April 6, 1942 in Sharpsburg, he was a son of the late Ralph B. Haynes, Sr., and the late Frances Lugenia Willis Haynes. Mr. Haynes was a member of Sharpsburg Baptist Church and was retired from Bonnell Aluminum. He was a Fifty-Year member and Past Master of Turin Lodge #337 F. & A. M. Mr. Haynes enjoyed tending to his grapevines and cutting firewood. He loved working in his machine shop making and fixing things. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kayleigh Haynes.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Brenda Haynes; son, Chris Haynes of Palmetto; daughters, Leslie Fender (John) of Sharpsburg, Tracey Barnett (Scott) of Newnan, and Kristi Haynes of Sharpsburg; brother, Bud Haynes of Sharpsburg; sisters, Sara Tillery of Sharpsburg, and Sandra Dalton of Pelzer, South Carolina; grandchildren, Steven Copeland, Tyler Copeland, Daniel Haynes, Dylan Lash, and Megan Lash; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Copeland, SarahAnn Copeland, Tyler Copeland, Jr., and Benjamin Copeland; his best friends, Homer Reeves and Bill Anglin; beloved dogs, Mollie and Quigley; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Russell Arrington officiating. Interment, with Masonic Rites, will follow at Sharpsburg Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
