Phyllis Lee Potts, 76, of Newnan, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.

She was born on May 30, 1947, in Newnan. Phyllis enjoyed doing puzzles, wordscapes and listening to Elvis. She also loved to watch soap operas, anything with Johnny Depp, and the Braves, Falcons and Bulldogs. The absolute joy of her life was her family. She was also preceded in death by her; sons, Hugh Michael Brown and Mickey Ellis Crawford; sister, Janice Holley; and grandfather, Lee Otis Tate.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ponder (Douglas) and Mary Presley (Michael); son, Billy Jack Brown; grandchildren, Lewis Crawford (Abby), Haven Helton, Rayleigh Potts, Michael Presley, Hope Trimble and Dilan Brown; numerous, great grandchildren; "adopted daughter", Marlene Damron; and "adopted granddaughter", Jatera Walters.

A private celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
