Mrs. Phyllis Jayne "PJ" Wager, 69, of Newnan, died Monday, July 28, 2025, at her residence.

Born April 3, 1956, in Jacksonville, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Harold Miner and the late Dorothy Waldrep Miner. Mrs. Wager was of the Christian faith and owned and operated her own house cleaning business for many years. PJ loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed hiking, camping, and gardening. In addition to her parents, PJ was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Helms, and two brothers, Charles Miner, and Leonard Miner.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 37 years, Mark Edward Wager; sons, Mark Adam Wager, and Matthew Franklin Wager (Jenny); grandchildren, Maylee Wager, and Avariella Rose Wager; brothers, John Borek, Jr., Robin Miner, and Jeff Miner; sister, Charlotte Knox; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
