Peggy Mayo Marlowe, age 77, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on March 26, 2025. She was born on December 27, 1947, to the late James Dallas Mayo, Jr. and Marion Morris Mayo.
She married her loving husband of 57 years, Glenn Marlowe, and together they raised two wonderful children, Scott and Sandy. She devoted herself to being the most caring and thoughtful wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. Her family was her greatest joy and nothing made her happier than spending time with them. She became a beloved "Grammy" to her four grandchildren Ansley, Preston, Katie, and Mitch. She welcomed her first great-grandchild, Lilly, with the same boundless love and care.
She was also a beloved "Sissy" to her sister, Janet, and her nephew and niece Alex and Emily. She also welcomed her great niece, Ella Elise, in June.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Marlowe of Moreland, Ga. She also leaves behind her loving children, Scott and Lisa Marlowe of Sharpsburg, GA, and Sandy Marlowe Titshaw of Moreland, GA. She was blessed with four grandchildren Ansley (Tate) Reece, Preston Marlowe, Katie Titshaw (Tanner Pace), and Mitch Titshaw. Additionally she had one great grandchild, Lillian Reece. She also leaves behind her sister, Janet (Tony) Hughes of Newnan, GA, as well as her niece and nephew Alex (Katie) Hughes and Emily (Sam Barge) Hughes along with her great-niece Ella Elise Barge.
She also leaves behind her sister-n- law Patti (Roger) Cochran of Bonifay, Florida.
The graveside service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 3 pm. Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 656 Roscoe Road, Newnan, Georgia 30263 with Pastor T.J. Boyd officiating.
