Mr. Patrick Louis Martin, 73, of Newnan, died Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born March 20, 1948, in Sheldon, Vermont, he was a son of the late Bradley Louis Martin and the late Willie Lee Jenkins Martin.  Pat was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and loved singing in the Atkins Family Gospel Group.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and wood working.  He also loved to cook and watch sports.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Bonnie A. Martin; sister, Brenda Joy Sims of Rising Star, TX; brother-in-law, Randy Atkins (Dinah) of Newnan; nephews, William Atkins, and Bill Atkins; nieces, Samantha Atkins Stone, and Tammy Lynn Rice; and several other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021, in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Carl Calhoun, Pastor Terry Calhoun, and Pastor Mike Sprayberry officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 22, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
