Mrs. Pamela Meacham Gilpin, 64, of Newnan, widow of the late Dale Gilpin, died Sunday, April 3, 2022, at her residence.

Born October 19, 1957, in Newnan, she was a daughter of the late Jessie Paul Meacham and the late Nellie Kate McLendon Meacham. Mrs. Gilpin was a member of Miracle Tabernacle Family Worship Center and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Pam never met a stranger and had a contagious laugh and smile. She enjoyed bird watching and gardening. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dwight Meacham.

Survivors include her daughters, Kris D. Gilpin, and Kelly G. Godfrey; sisters, Pauline Meacham Clay, and Kathy Meacham Norwood; grandchildren, Jesse Gilpin, Kallen Gilpin, Jaylen Whatley, and Jackson Whatley; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Sacred Journey Hospice Foundation c/o Dave Riley, 138 Peach Drive, McDonough, Georgia 30253 in memory of Mrs. Gilpin.
