Pamela Jean Baker, 71, of Griffin, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin.

Born on November 10, 1954, in Atlanta, to the late Wallace Townsend and the late Geneva Townsend. Pamela found joy in baking, painting, and creating award-winning cross-stitch pieces. She also dearly loved her pets and family and spent countless hours researching and preserving her family genealogy. Her heart was listening to her grandson, Jesse playing the piano. She was also preceded in death by her son, Timothy Stallings; sister, Janet Townsend; and brothers, James Townsend and Glen Townsend.

Survivors include her partner who she shared over 40 years of life with, remained by her side and cared for her in her final years, Carl Baker; daughter, Jennifer Luppens (Adam); grandchildren, Jesse Pritchett, Alexis Rogers, A. J. Luppens and Anna Luppens; and sister, Elizabeth Huggins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Spalding County Animal Shelter in memory of Pamela.

Services will be private.
