Monica Lisa Doddridge, 55, of Newnan, died Friday, January 22, 2021 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born February 21, 1965 in Newnan, she was a daughter of Dolores Vaughn Davis and the late Marion McLamb.  Monica was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church where she was active with the Ladies Ministry, and AWANA.  She loved anything tie-dye, coloring, and spending time with her grandchildren.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, John Doddridge, and a granddaughter, Serenity Cribbs.

Survivors include her Husband, Robert C. Doddridge; son, Patrick Doddridge of Newnan; daughter, Nicole Smith (Brian Veal) of Newnan; brothers, Kenneth McLamb of Newnan, Marty Hand of Hartselle, AL, Baris Hand of Luthersville, and Beavis Hand of Whitesburg; sisters, Melissa Folds of LaGrange, Denise Warnock of Newnan, Yvonne Henderson of Newnan, and Julie Sheffield of Atlanta; grandchildren, Abraleigh, Georgia, TJ, Corbin, and Charlevoix; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Hosmer officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 4:30 p.m. until service time.
