Michael E. Thacker, 54, of Newnan, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024.

Born on September 26, 1969, in Newnan, to the late James Buford Thacker and the late Nellie Jo Hayes Thacker. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Thacker.

Survivors include his significant other, Tracey Spain; children, Brandon Thacker (Donna), Joshua Spain (Meghan), Justin Spain (Allie) and Ashlyn Spain (Hunter); grandchildren, Payton Thacker, Harley Thacker, Kaylee Thacker, Jack Spain, Wyatt Spain, Waylon Spain and Collin Spain; and sister, Sheila Wadsworth.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Hillcrest Chapel. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
