Mr. Michael Allen Gill, 64, of Newnan, died Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

In his early years, Mr. Gill worked as an auto mechanic and developed a lifelong passion for working on cars. Later in life, he transitioned to a career as an IT specialist for Macy's, where he enjoyed applying his technical skills. He always dreamed of flying and held a deep love for aviation, a dream that remained close to his heart throughout his life. Outside of work, Mr. Gill was an avid enthusiast of woodworking, spending many hours crafting projects with precision and care. His love of computers and technology also shaped many of his hobbies and interests. Additionally, he found joy in riding motorcycles and kept a keen interest in current events, often watching the news to stay informed.

Survivors include his daughter, Allison N. Turner, and her husband Matt; brothers, Daniel Gill, Stephen Gill, and Joseph Gill; sister, René Kneller; and grandchildren, Lora Turner and Bryer Turner.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Jason Walton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, one hour prior to the service.
