Melissa “Missy” Maddox, age 52, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026. She was born on April 6, 1974,
to the late Barbara Colbert.

Missy will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, David (Jennifer), Matthew (Lindsey), and Angela (Jacob),and by her nieces and nephews: Michael (Melissa), Ally, Sydney, Kyleigh (Brendan), Tanner, Tyler, and Zoey. She also leaves behind her great-niece and great-nephews, Addie, Chandler, and Kacen, who brought so much love and joy to her life.

Missy was blessed with two wonderful aunts, Toni and Wendy, who loved her unconditionally and were a cherished part of her life.

An avid animal lover, Missy had a special place in her heart for animals. Her beloved cat, whom she lovingly called “brother,” will surely feel the loss of his best friend and companion.

Missy’s love, laughter, kindness, and unforgettable spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was deeply loved and will be remembered always by her family and friends.

She will be missed beyond measure and loved beyond words. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Melissa's wishes were to be cremated and no services to be held.
