Mattie Ruth Martin, 83, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022.

Born August 1, 1938, in Young Harris, GA, to the late Grady Justice and the late Christine Howell Justice. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Martin; and daughters, Rhonda Mae Gladin and Rita Michelle East.

Survivors include her daughters, Christine Phillips (James), Rose Brewer (Mark), Regena Carroll; sons, Ron Martin (Leisa) and John Robert Martin; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and brothers, William Justice and Ray Justice.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Hillcrest Chapel. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Carrollton. The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
