Mrs. Mary Teresa Stewart Minix, 47, of Grantville, died Thursday, May 7, 2020 at her residence.

Born February 19, 1973 in Rome, Georgia, she was a daughter of Horace Stewart and Meredith Atkinson Stewart.  Mary was of the Baptist Faith and was a good wife and mom.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing crafts, and was an awesome cook.

Survivors include her husband, Ben Minix; daughters, Samantha Black (Jacob) of Newnan, Megan Wooten, also of Newnan, and Alex Minix of Grantville; parents, Horace and Meredith Stewart; sister, Callen Hall; and grandson, Maverick Black.

A memorial service is planned at the home of her daughter.
