Ms. Mary G. Bishop Redfern, 76, of Palmetto, died Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born October 17, 1945, in Roscoe, she was a daughter of the late John Thomas Bishop and the late Martha Marie Powell Bishop. She was also preceded in death by numerous siblings.

Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Windom (Ken) and Cynthia Redfern; sons, Richard Eugene Redfern III and Michael Herrick; brothers, Thomas Bishop (Kim) and John Bishop (Linda); grandchildren, Joel Redfern, Miles Varner (Autumn), Megan Raymond (Kai) and Carson Herrick; great grandchildren, Lane Varner and Olivia Raymond; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in Hillcrest Chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
