Mr. Marcus Anthony Arrington, Sr., 61, of Newnan, died Monday, February 14, 2022, at his residence.

Born September 22, 1960, in Newnan, he was a son of the late Mary Rainey, and of the Baptist Faith. Marcus was a generous, caring, hard-working man who took care of his family and would give you the shirt off his back. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved classic cars. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Blankenship, and a sister, Gail Blankenship.

Survivors include his sons, Marcus A. Arrington, Jr. (Sally), and Brandon Morris (Sara), all of Newnan; and grandchildren, Levi Arrington, Abby Arrington, Matthew Tillery-Morris, and Alex Tillery-Morris.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
