Mr. Marcos Antonio Gutierrez, 69, of Newnan, died Sunday, December 6, 2021, at his residence.

Born September 12, 1952, in Bogota, Columbia, he was a son of the late Vicente Gutierrez and the late Omaira Gomez Gutierrez. Mr. Gutierrez attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City. He served in the Columbian Armed Forces for 19 years and enjoyed fishing with friends. Mr. Gutierrez moved to the U.S. in 2010.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Nancy Gutierrez; daughters, Luz Mery Gutierrez, Sandra Beckler, and Marie Angelica Gutierrez; sisters, Magdalena Gutierrez, and Cecilia Gutierrez; brothers, Miguel Gutierrez, Alberto Gutierrez, Jose Vicente Gutierrez, Juan Carlos Gutierrez, and Victor Gutierrez; and grandchildren, Luisa Fernanda Mozos, Andrea Mozos, Joan Manuel Lopez, Franco Lopez, Bruce William Beckler, Jr., and Isabella Beckler.

The family will receive friends at Hillcrest Chapel on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Cremation will follow the visitation, and the family will hold a memorial mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, date, and time to be announced.
