Mrs. Lorrinda "Biddy" Thompson, 81, of Newnan, widow of the late Collis Thompson, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born July 6, 1940, in Augusta, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Earl B. Wolford and the late Naomi Combs Wolford.  Mrs. Thompson was a member of Miracle Tabernacle Family Worship Center and enjoyed reading her Bible, music, and her Church.  She loved spending time with her family.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Wolford.

Survivors include her daughters, Elana Baldwin of Newnan, Carla Joiner (Stewart) of Grantville, and Cara Bentley (Chris) of Newnan; brother, John Wolford of Capon Bridge, WV; sisters, Judy Boyce of Winchester, WV, Darlene Saunders of Augusta, WV, and Janet Peacemaker of Capon Bridge; grandchildren, Matthew Baldwin, Amy Baldwin, Victoria Amoroso, Keri Joiner, Alisha Link, T. J. Joiner, Emily Gann, and Jacob Joiner; great-grandchildren, Katelyn Baldwin, Axton Freeman, Brayden Schmidt, Evie Schmidt, Joseph Gann, and Hadlee Douglas; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Ken Smith and Pastor Kenneth Thompson officiating.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service.
