Mrs. Lisa Carol McKibbin, 64, of Whitesburg, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.

Born August 3, 1957, in Huntsville, Alabama, she was a daughter of Carolyn Deanna Barrett Schmidt, and the late William C. Schmidt. Lisa was of the Baptist Faith and was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She was a great cook and enjoyed sharing a meal with family and friends. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and playing cards.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 44 years, John S. McKibbin; son, John Rudi McKibbin (Karen) of Carrollton; sister, Patricia Ann Schmidt McDonald (David) of Merritt Island, Florida; mother, Carolyn Barrett Schmidt, also of Merritt Island; grandchildren, Riley McKibbin, Rozalin Pridmore, Talon Pridmore, and Logan Pridmore; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
