Surrounded by close family members and friends, Lisa Miracle DeWees, 61, of Newnan, GA passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2025 concluding her journey through cancer.

Born in Springfield, Ohio on April 20, 1964, and raised in Xenia, Ohio, Lisa graduated from Xenia High School and earned her associate degree from Kentucky Christian College. While there she met Rich DeWees, her husband and life partner of 40 years. Lisa thrived in raising her two children and was faithfully invested in their life in ministry throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Georgia, including their current church family at Foundation Christian Church of Newnan, GA. She loved to focus her creativity into crafts such as crochet and jewelry making, and sharing those with everyone around her. During her final years of life, she leaned into her passion for encouraging the women and young mothers in her community. Her life became marked by sharing stories, laughing with family and friends, and reading to her granddaughter.

Lisa is survived by her husband Rich DeWees; daughter Kyla (Chris) Beals, granddaughter Miracle Beals; son Colter DeWees; brother Ken (Terri) Miracle; sister Lori Miracle Lawrimore; mother Barbara Miracle; mother-in-law Judy DeWees; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Ken Miracle and father-in-law Ernie DeWees.

We will gather to honor and celebrate the life of Lisa DeWees on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Foundation Christian Church in Historic Downtown Newnan. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m.
