Linda Faye Nelson King, 79, of Newnan, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022, at her residence.

Born August 13, 1942, in Houston, TX, to the late Johnny Nelson and the late Juanita West Nelson. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Moreland. Linda was a proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She cherished her family and loved having her nails and hair done. She would say "Maw Maw is my name and spoiling is what I do, because I can". She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry King; and son, Tim King.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Shelnutt of Hopkinsville, KY, Kim Thomas (Jimmy) of Newnan and Sheree Rogers (Jason) of Grantville; sons, John Frazier (Celeste) of Kileen, TX, and Wallace Frazier (Lisa) of Lampasses, TX; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Donny Shelton and Pastor Stephen McClain officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the funeral home.
