Mrs. Linda Jean Marshall, 82, of Newnan, died Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Westhill Newnan Crossing.

Born April 1, 1943, in Washburn, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late John Held, and the late Leola Miller Held. Mrs. Marshall worked as a registered nurse for many years. After her retirement, she enjoyed travel and took many cruises and trips abroad. She was an accomplished seamstress and made 80 – 100 quits a year, which she lovingly donated to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. She also enjoyed the company of her canine companion, Lucy.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Gene Marshall; daughter, Nicole Tyson (Scott); son, Chad Marshall; and grandchildren, Camron Tyson (Hayes), and Mason Tyson.

In accordance with Linda's wishes, no services will be held.
