Mr. Lewis M. Lee passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, peacefully, in his home, with his family present.

Mr. Lewis was born November 11, 1931. He loved his grandchildren, being outside, and planting/tending his garden. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Lee.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, JoAnne Lee; children, Ronnie Lee, Sandy & Mike Hynson, Theresa Lee, and Don Lee; grandchildren, Megan, Justin, Allison (Austin Yates), Emily, Kasey (Willis Cashion), Conner, Adrianna, Wesley, June, Augusta, Ryan, Rachel, Wayne (LeeAnn), Ashley, Steven, Jessica, and Tosha; great-grandchildren, Christian, Austin, Skylar, Maggie, Olivia, Sawyer, Caleb, and Adelynn; special Alabama relative, Sara Lee; and several extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Hillcrest Chapel. No other services are planned.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Franklin First Baptist Church, Post Office Box 216, Franklin, GA 30217, in memory of Mr. Lee.
