Mrs. Kiyo Johnson, 87, of Sharpsburg, died Monday, April 5, 2021 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born on May 17, 1933, in Sakae Cho, Japan, she was a daughter of the late Shiochi Yokota and the late Fuji Inamura Yokota.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Rogers Johnson.

Survivors include her son, David Johnson; daughter, Sandra Walker; sisters, Ikuko Yokota and Sanae Shimada; grandchildren, William Johnson (Ashley), Timothy Johnson, James Mitchell Henthorn and Danielle Michiyo Henthorn; great-grandchildren, Gavin Johnson, Emily Johnson, James Johnson, Daniel Watson, Oaklynd Henthorn and Natalee Henthorn.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Hillcrest Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to the Royal Animal Refuge in Peachtree City at https://royalanimalrefuge.networkforgood.com/projects/63250-donations-to-royal-animal-refuge in memory of Mrs. Johnson.
