Kenneth "Dayton"
Casey
March 30, 2001 – August 19, 2024
Kenneth Dayton Casey, 23, of Newnan, died August 19, 2024.
Born on March 30, 2001, to Hayden and Daisha Casey, Dayton was a true firecracker, a light in our lives who brought endless joy, laughter, and love to everyone he met.
Dayton was known for his boundless energy, his infectious smile, and ability to make anyone laugh, no matter the circumstance. His love for life was evident in everything he did. Whether he was out hunting, fishing, tearing down a dirt road or slinging mud and doing burnouts, Dayton lived life to the fullest, with a spirit that was wild, free, and untamed. Beyond his love for adventure, Dayton was a fiercely loyal friend, always there to lend a hand to anyone. He loved his family and friends with a passion that was unparalleled.
The bond Dayton shared with his father, Hayden, was something truly special; they were more than father and son, they were best friends, inseparable from the beginning to end. The loss of Dayton has left a void in the hearts of his father, his family, and all who knew him.
Dayton is survived by his father, Hayden Casey of Newnan, and his mother, Daisha Casey of Rome; his sister, Hayley Barnett and her husband Jeff of Adairsville; his grandparents, Ken and Becky Casey of Newnan and Vicki and Rod Rodriguez of Sugar Hill; great grandmother, Aileen Vega of High Falls; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A service to celebrate Dayton's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Hillcrest Chapel led by Pastor Howard Alexander. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, one hour prior to the service.
