Mr. Ken Formby, 68, of Newnan, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born November 21, 1952 in Rome, Georgia, he was a son of the late Doyle Martin Formby and the late Edna Kay Formby.  Mr. Formby was a member of Atlanta West Pentecostal Church, and served as a minister of the Gospel for over 25 years.  He was the most giving person who loved helping others and never asked for help for himself.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Lola J. Formby; daughters, Stephanie Cole (Mark) of Buford, GA, Kristy Keener (Roger) of Newnan, and Leah Formby of Buford; son, Seth Formby of Atlanta; brother, Dan Formby (Lucia) of Bluffton, SC; grandchildren, Tori Mero, Maci Cole, Kristopher Formby, and Kristian Keener; and great-grandchildren, Ryder, Robert, Emory, and Kasen.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 in Hillcrest Chapel with Brother Leon Marsh officiating.  The service will be live streamed and may be viewed by following the link on his obituary on our website at www.hillcrestchapelcares.com
