Mrs. Katie Katema Bloom, 31, of Hogansville, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

She was born August 28, 1990, in Newnan to Benjamin Britt and the late Anita Britt. Katie worked at Connie's Little Loves Learning Center in Franklin. She truly enjoyed life, she loved to sing, dance and was always "dressed to impress". Above all she was a loving mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend, she put everyone else first, especially her children. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Valerie Cannon.

In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Chris Bloom; daughters, Kyleigh Bloom, Kynzlee Bloom, Katlyn Shields and Hailey Bloom; sister, Melissa Pogue; grandparents, Cliff and Sherrie Britt; aunt, Felicia Lavoie; nieces and nephews; Rebecca, Benjamin, Cayden and Lilyanna; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Brenda Parks and Cliff Bloom; and numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor David Arrington officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour on Monday at the funeral home.
