Juliana Frances
Palermo-Szvetecz
July 1, 1956 – February 18, 2025
Juliana Frances Palermo-Szvetecz, 68, of Luthersville, Georgia, went home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Juliana was first and foremost a follower of Christ Jesus. She was also a loving wife to Daniel Szvetecz, a mother to David, Stephen, and Kaitlyn, and a Nana to Jake, Sam, Sophia, Cameron, Evelyn, Nathan, Matthew, Madelynne, Roseanna, Lillian, and Jasmin. Juliana demonstrated dedication and hard work by supporting her family through her many careers from the Nutrition Department Manager at Kroger to her retirement from Honda of Newnan. However, her legacy was fulfilled as she faithfully served Christ. She spent many years ensuring her children would grow up with a personal relationship with Jesus. She made certain that they attended every church function as little kids at Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle in New York on through their teen years at Trinity Church in Sharpsburg, Georgia. Her job didn't stop there as she continued to illustrate a servant heart at Encounter Life Church Newnan. Juliana exemplified a prayer warrior in her life everyday where she would pray for friends, family, and even brand new acquaintances at work or the grocery store. She always made sure to pray extra hard for her grandchildren whom she loved so dearly. Juliana is preceded in death by her parents, Dominick and Antoinette Palermo and her step-son Nicholas Szvetecz. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Szvetecz; brother, Robert Palermo (Donna); children, David Fader (Tina), Stephen Fader (Brianne), Kaitlyn Westbrook (Matthew); step-son, Daniel Szvetecz, Jr. (Ann); daughter-in-law Adriana Szvetecz; grandchildren, Jake, Sam, Sophia, Cameron, Evelyn, Nathan, Matthew, Madelynne, Roseanna, Lillian, and Jasmin. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 15, 2025 at 11 am at Encounter Life Church Newnan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Juliana Frances Palermo-Szvetecz to Encounter Life Church Newnan's Kingdom Builders (missions) fund at 620 Greison Trail, Newnan, GA 30263, (678) 633-5995 or online at https://app.securegive.com/ELCNewnan/main/donate/category (select Kingdom Builders).
