Mrs. Joyce Ann Northrop, 73, of Palmetto, died Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born June 11, 1947 in Haralson County, daughter of the late Sally Kate Parrish Florence and the late Addis Florence. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Dempsey.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Ronald Northrop; daughters, Donna Dempsey (Darrell McKnight), Felecia Sharkey (Steve), Nicole Caldwell (William) and Amy Reid (Todd Beal); sons, Wayne Higgins (Renita) and Richard Higgins (Cathy); 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and brother, Eddie Florence (Sandra).

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 at Victory Baptist Church in Palmetto with Pastor Terry Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hill Cemetery in Palmetto. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
