Joyce A. Soto, 65, of Newnan, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2022, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born January 23, 1957, to the late William Carroll and the late Doris Hearing Carroll. Joyce enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved flowers and animals, especially dogs and cats. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tasha Lynn Buchan; and brothers, James Carroll, Bill Carroll, and Lonnie Carroll.

She is survived by her husband, Abel Diaz Soto; son, George Franklin Murphy (Holly); grandchildren, Frankie Murphy, Brandon Murphy, and Alonzo Buchan; special cousins, Tammy Webb, Kristi Mullins, Vicki Meeks and Kayla Preston; nieces and nephews, Patty Baxter, Stephanie Carroll, Jonathan Carroll, Michael Carroll and Boogie Carroll; and special friend, Jill Phillips.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Hillcrest Chapel. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn. The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
