Mr. Joseph Patrick Maruzzella, 49, of Newnan, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, at his residence.

Born March 4, 1975, in Rahway, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Carl Maruzzella and Rosemarie Maruzzella. Joseph was a passionate sports fan and rooted for the New York Mets, Notre Dame, the New York Jets and the New York Kicks. He also enjoyed watching the weather channel and keeping up with the weather. He retired from Publix grocery as a produce clerk.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Ashley Maruzzella; sons, Carson Maruzzella and Carter McKeehan; brothers, Douglas Maruzzella (Jessica) and Michael Maruzzela (Nicole); nieces, Adria and Savannah; nephews, Cameron, Caleb, Wyatt and Cohen; mother and father-in-law, Jeff and Carrie Brown and brother-in-law, Christopher Brown (Kristyn).

A celebration of Joseph's Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Anthony Langley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Friday evening at the funeral home.
