Mr. John Wesley Sellers, 56, of Newnan, died Friday, March 1, 2024, at WellStar Kennestone Hospital.

Born December 9, 1967, in Lexington, Kentucky, he was a son of Jimmy Sellers and the late Ann Manning Sellers. A devoted father and family man, John's laughter was a staple at family gatherings, and his ability to tell a joke or share a funny story was unparalleled. John's love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life, and the memories created during these precious moments will be treasured forever. An avid sports enthusiast, John's passion for the game was contagious. Whether he was playing, watching, or discussing sports, his enthusiasm and knowledge were always on full display. This same zeal extended to his hobby of collecting coins and various memorabilia. John's love for trivia was evident and his quick wit and vast knowledge often left others in awe of his intellect.

In addition to his father, survivors include his son, Damon Chance Sellers; daughters, Kalee Sellers, Abigail Sellers, and Carmen Maddox; brother, Anthony Sellers; sister, Allison Parker; grandchildren, River Maddox, Jonah Maddox, CJ Sellers, Maverick Sellers, and Amelia Avery; and several nieces and nephews.

The date and time of the Celebration of Life service will be announced.
