Mr. John Edward "Jack" Fohrman, 75, of Newnan, died Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the home of his son.

Born December 18, 1944 in Laona, Wisconsin, he was a son of the late Herman Fohrman and the late Eleanor Huph Fohrman.  Jack was of the Catholic Faith and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom he had nicknames for.  He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and never met a stranger.  Jack worked in construction all his life and still enjoyed building things and working with his hands.  He also enjoyed restoring his antique pick-up truck.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Judy Fohrman; sons, John Fohrman (Kathy) of Laona, WI, and Todd Fohrman (Wendy) of Newnan; daughter, Tracy Butts of Sugar Hill; his twin sister, Jean Chitko of Laona, WI; grandchildren, Meghan, Kirsten, Callie, Kendall, McKinley, Jackson, Cody, and Shelby; and 7 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2020 in Hillcrest Chapel and will be live streamed on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FuneralStaff1
