Mr. John David Duncan, 69, of Newnan, died Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born September 20, 1952, in Atlanta, he was a son of the late Everett Duncan, Jr. and the late Catherine Phillips Duncan. Mr. Duncan was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He was a loving father to his girls and husband to the love of his life, and he loved his dogs and cats. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Everett Duncan, III, Lucille Mulkey, and Alice Chambless.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Bonnie Duncan; daughters, Stacey Morehead (Jeremy) of Whitesburg, and Shana Entrekin (David) of Canton; brother, Philip Duncan (Janann) of LaGrange; grandchildren, Ray Morehead, Lillie Morehead, Nathaniel Brock, and Natalie Brock; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2021, in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Ken Austin officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, one hour prior to the service.
