Mr. Jimmy C. Pollard, 76, of Newnan, died Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at his residence.

Born August 23, 1943 in Newnan, he was a son of the late Grover Pollard and the late Agnes Shelton Pollard.  Mr. Pollard was of the Baptist Faith and was a good husband and grandpa.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Lanora M. Pollard; daughters, Melanie Tomlinson of Newnan, Maria Darnell of Whitesburg, and Wendy Dyer of Tallapoosa; brother, Raynard Day of Sargent; 10 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

A public memorial service will be announced once the current pandemic subsides.
