Mr. Jerry Lynn LeFevers, 66, of Jackson, died Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Born May 10, 1959, in Murphy, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Dewey H. LeFevers and the late Frankie L. Blackwell LeFevers. Jerry was deeply devoted to his faith and regularly attended Rehoboth Baptist Church. He was a caring and devoted husband, father, brother, Pawpaw, and friend—always willing to help others in any way he could. Known for his generosity, Jerry would give anyone the shirt off his back. He excelled as a mechanic and was highly skilled in paint and body work. In addition, he was a gifted guitar player with a true passion for playing the blues. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a daughter, Jacquelyn LeFevers, a brother, Michael LeFevers, and a sister, Deborah LeFevers.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Jaynel LeFevers; son, Jesse LeFevers (Nicole); daughter, Daphney Riddle (Jason); brothers, Kenny Blackwell (Angela), Dewey Arnold LeFevers (Sherion), and Eddie James LeFevers (Lisa); grandchildren, Christopher, Dacia, Ethan, Chandler, and Ezra; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Ken Austin officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service.
