Mr. Jerry "Buck" Clifton Moss, 68, of Newnan, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022.

Born November 25, 1953, in Atlanta, to the late Clifton W. Moss and the late Laura Mae Watkins. He retired from Delta after 40 years with company as a mechanic. Before his health declined, he was an active member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. He taught Sunday school, worked with the youth, the children's ministry, vacation bible school and cooked cornbread at the church's booth in the Powers Crossroads Arts and Crafts Festival. Buck could fix anything and loved to work with his hands. He built and worked on props for the Newnan High School Band. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and four wheelers, whenever he got the chance. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Watkins and William Watkins.

Survivors include his wife of 32 plus years, Ana Maria Moss; daughter, Jennifer Pineda (Raul); son, Nicholas Moss; granddaughter, Maggie Hanson; sister, Joyce Young, Joe Ann Dilbeck and Juanita Stevenson; and loyal companion, Mickey Mutt.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2022, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor Matthew Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the funeral home.
