Jeffery Andy Walker, 63, of LaGrange, died Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Piedmont Columbus – Midtown.

Born March 25, 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia, he was a son of the late William Grady Walker and the late Mary Elizabeth Kelley Walker. Jeff was a man of faith, gentleness, and profound love for his family. He was a man who found joy and fulfillment in the simple pleasures of life.  His gentle demeanor and loving nature were a beacon of light to all who knew him. A devoted family man, Jeff cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His love for his family was only matched by his love for wrestling and Georgia Bulldogs Football. In remembering Jeff, we celebrate a life lived with love, faith, and gentleness. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire us all. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his brothers, William Tony Walker, Sr., and Eric Kelly Walker.

Survivors include his sister, Tanya Yaughn; brother, Chuck Walker (Janie); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Doug Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
